OUR CORE VALUES

Core values are those traits or qualities that represent a church's highest priorities, deeply held beliefs, and  fundamental reasons for existence.  They are the heart of what a church hopes to be and do, and they help the church determine if it's on the right path as it seeks to fulfill its God-ordained purpose.

Core Value #1 – Worshiping Actively
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will” Romans 12:1-2, NIV

Core Value#2 – Serving Sacrificially
Not so with you, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:26-28, NIV

Core Value #3 – Growing Purposefully
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13, NIV

Core Value #4 – Loving Passionately
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.‘ Matthew 22:37-39, NIV
